The sneaky Hunter Slimes have returned, this time on Starlight Strand. Don't forget the tray attachment to the incinerator - the gadget on its own is only for destroying items, the tray will allow Fire Slimes to eat and live in it. These Slimes are the fire equivalent to the adorable Puddle Slimes and require an incinerator to be kept on the ranch. They require no add-ons to their corral - except maybe high walls and an air net so they don't get loose. They can hurt Bea, so be careful while you're around them. The explosive slimes are back, and can be found in a cave with Crystal, Batty, and Fire Slimes on Ember Isle. We recommend an auto-feeder to avoid wasting food. Ringtail Slimes will eat anything, constantly, and won't always produce Plorts. They require a Solar Shield on their corral. Then you can suck them up and take them home. In daylight, Ringtails appear as statues that you'll need to move into a cave to turn back into Ringtails. You won't find them in the overworld, or in the daytime. Perhaps the hardest to Ranch new Slime is the mysterious Ringtail. They also feed on Veggies, and will harm Bea if you get too close. Rock Slimes, the pointy blue slimes, aren't to be confused with Crystals. Location - Ember Valley, Starlight Strand.They can harm you if they bounce into you, so be careful while ranching them. They appear frequently on the Starlight Strand, and on Ember Valley.Ĭrystal Slimes are back in Slime Rancher 2 and can be found in caves on Ember Valley. They need no special additions to a corral. Though not aquatic, they resemble angler fish and eat meat. The first new Slime you'll meet is likely the Angler Slime.
